This course is designed around learning the fundamental skills behind shooting handguns both safely and accurately and is the second-level class in the QRF’s Pistol Curriculum. The course is a high instructor-to-student ratio, allowing for a close, personal hands-on attention while still being in a relaxed classroom environment. Course instruction includes classroom work, hands-on dry-fire practice. This class is designed for anyone that cannot shoot consistent 4” groups at 3 yards.

The Shooting course is the third in the sequence of handgun instruction. It builds upon the skills found in the Static Fundamental Shooting course and on your own personal experience. Our Dynamic Fundamental Shooting Skills course focuses on the more complex movements required for advanced level shooting. The class is a 2½-hour course and includes classroom work, and range time to prepare you for the Dynamic Shooting Competence Check (DSCC). This course, once passed, will permit you to challenge the DSCC and grant access to the Dynamic (Tac) range area, without an escort*.

This one-on-one shooting course is for shooters wanting direct training to improve their skill set. It builds upon the skills found in the Dynamic Fundamental Shooting Skills course and on your own personal experience. Our Dynamic Shooting Skills course focuses on the more complex movements required for steel shoots and working your way to competitive shooting. The class is a 1½-hour course and is all down range time. This course requires The Range Langley Tac certification*.

R100 Classes and up requires all individuals to have a current (R)PAL for participation.
The course focuses on the basics of the sport and competition AR15 rifle platformed rifles. However, we will be working with both Pistol Caliber Carbine (PCC) and .223/5.56 variants as we wait for the reversal of the May 1, 2020 OIC. We welcome any tactical rifle such as the Freedom Ordnance FX9, Tavor X95/SAR, Raven or Kodiak WC180. We learn the history, theory of operation, and basic use. This class is designed for a shooter who has recently purchased a carbine-style rifle and would like to know the basics of use. We cover everything you want to know from the gun to the accessories you’ll need to put on to make it right for you.

You’ve asked and we have delivered. This course is the first class in a series that will help you learn basic tactical skills using a carbine for close-quarters shooting. The class is a 1½ hour course and includes classroom work, hands-on dry-fire practice, and live-fire drills.

The Carbine 2 course follows the Carbine 1 course and builds on those skills. In addition to some review, the Carbine 2 course will dive into much more advanced techniques and include the use of your tactical pistol skills for low light encounters. The class is a 1½ hour course and includes classroom work, hands-on dry-fire practice, and live-fire drills. Pistols are not required.

Introduction to Shotguns is a course designed to provide attendees with the basic instruction and understanding of the shotgun, its history, and its purpose. The shotgun can be a great all-around tool for not only fun target shooting but also as a very effective home defense tool.
